PreAmp with Tone and Base control
The following circuit is a preamplifier with approximately 0.18% total harmonic distortion. It has good characteristics throughout the audio spectrum as seen by the simulation. The simulation was done by using the ICAP4 software provided by www.intusoft.com . The base can be controlled by adjusting R13 and the Tone can be adjusted by setting R10. The surface mount transistors can be purchased from FAIRCHILD semiconductors.
