9 CHANNEL IR TRANSMITTER USING PIC16F630

This circuit is an infrared transmitter using the PIC16F630 microcontroller 8 bit architecture with flash memory (Click here Microchip). It is able to transmit 9 different channels with the touch of a switch labelled sw1 through sw9. It is powered by 3 x 1.5 v batteries and is small enough to be made hand held. The program is very simple, you may make any type of serial data with your own protocol (experiment with several types). The output is on pin RC4 which drives a 2n2222 transistor which turns on the infrared LED D1.
