HIGH LINEARITY RF 70MHz AMPLIFIERThe following RF amplifier is extremely linear and very versatile, it can easily amplify IF signals for 256QAM and other telecommunications modulations. It has an AGC range of below 0dB to appriximately 20dB depending on how you set the Vref voltage and bias pot R21. The transient and AC analyses are given below, they were generated by ICAP/4 from Intusoft (www.intusoft.com). Simulations were conducted in the 70MHz range, but the AC analysis shows it can be used from 10MHz to 200MHz.
