SIMPLE AM RECEIVER
This is an AM receiver for the 902-928MHz ISM band. The first stage uses the 2n4416 FET transistor which has little gain but is configured such that it can receive sensitive signals in the order of -70dBM. The rest of the circuit uses an LM833 stage which has over 100dB gain and makes for very good amplification of the audio signal. With little modification,one can incorporate this circuit in a data receiver at a very low cost. The over all gain was simulated using the ICAP4 software from Intusoft, the results are shown below.
